Minex SCHEDULING Steps for Mining Engineer
SCHEDULING
- Create Schedule database
- File > New > Schedule.db
- Create Equipment File
- File > New > Equipment .db
- Create Calendar File
- File > New . Calendar.ACAL
- Create Equipment File
- File > New > Equipment.csv
Once equipment file has been created equipment can be added through OPScheduleDB > Edit > Add Equipment. Equipment can also be added by right clicking on the equipment file on the file explorer on the left-hand side of Minex.
Once Equipment has been added in minex open the equipment.csv file in Excel and alter to suit current equipment on site. (WMIN = Waste Mining, CMIN = Coal mining)
Alternatively the equipment can be altered using OPScheduleDB > Detailed Schedule > Equipment Control Panel.
- Schedule Wizard: OP > Schedule > Schedule Wizard
- Select calander
- Open Reserves .db
- Select Schedule .db
- –Detailed Scheduling (Open equipment file)
-Target Scheduling (No equipment File required)
- Select current Schedule
- Select Parameters File
- Finish
Target Scheduler:
Target scheduling is to be used to get to target production values and assumes an average production value to reach desired targets.
Select target value and period e.g 100,000t per month for 12 months. Select starting strip / block and layer. OK. Output to csv or window.
